(More customer reviews)one of the nice things about having kids is taking them to the movies. and these two films, an american tail and feivel goes west were definite favorites. we had these two movies on vhs and wore them out. my kids are all teenagers now and probably not as interested in watching these kinds of films as they once were, but i really liked these two films a lot so i kind of bought them for myself! if you have seen them then you know how good they are. if not and you are searching for something good for your kids to watch, then i highly recommend. the story is about the experince of the immagrant coming to america, family and friendship, and the determination to persevere. the story and animation is top notch, on par with disney. many of the characters are voiced by popular actors, john cleese and dom deluise to name a few. this dvd contains both movies on one disc and even though it would have been nice to see them get the royal treatment that disney lavishes on their films, im still glad to have them. these are five star animated classics that your children will love and if youre a big kid then you'll love them too!
