I received my copy of AAAHH!!! Real Monsters Season 1 in the mail yesterday. I remember I used to love watching this show back in the late 90's on Nick and I have been waiting for a DVD copy of the series for a long time. I bought it for $28.99 and I'm so glad I didn't hesitate to buy this set!
Packaging: The series is packaged in a keepcase DVD like all the other amazon exclusive Nick releases (personally, I would've preferred a thinpak release).
Video Transfer: Video quality has been nicely remastered. Video is presented in its original 4:3 (Full frame) aspect ratio.
Features: The opening is only played at the beginning of each disc (would've preferred it to play after every two episodes like the ending credits) and ending credits are played after every two episode segments. Episodes play in airdate order and they are all uncut! The set plays for approx. 300 minutes long.
Language: Audio and Subtitles are only in English.
Overall: Overall a great release! Kids will love this series and it's a great show to watch during the Halloween season or any time during the year. This series may be a bit too scary for children under 5. I'm not too sure how sensitive kids are these days, so just a heads up for parents.
Episodes;
Disc 1
The Switching Hour (Includes introduction)
Monsters Get Real!
Snorched if You Do, Snorched if You Don't
Curse of the Krumm
Krumm Goes Hollywood
Monstrous Makeover
A Wing and a Scare
Krumm's Pimple
The Monster Hunter
Disc 2
Monsters Don't Dance (Includes Introduction)
Gone Shopp'n
Old Monster
Mother May I?
Don't Just Do It
Joined at the Hip

The Great Wave
Cold Hard Toenails
Attack of the Blobs
Disc 3
Chip Off the Old Beast (Includes Introduction)
The War is Over
Where Have All the Monsters Gone?
Simon Strikes Back
The Ickis Box
And that completes season 1! I really hope amazon will exclusively release the last three seasons. I will definitely buy them without hesitation. I also hope amazon will get around to releasing complete seasoned sets of Doug, Angry Beavers, Rocket Power, KaBlam!, and As Told By Ginger.
EDIT: As of December 1st 2010, amazon has released the rest of the Real Monsters series on DVD! Though I don't see what the deal is with the price gap from the 1st season. Oh well, I'm just thankful this series is completely released on DVD! :)

Scary doesn't get any sillier than Season 1 of Aaahh!!! Real Monsters! These monsters-in-training make fright a hoot as they try to learn the tricks of the scary monster trade to hilarious ends. Check out Ickis, Oblina, and Krumm and their herculean efforts to master The Gromble's class on proper scare techniques. What to do when one of your student monsters gets switched with a child in a lookalike costume on Halloween? Why, prepare them for one of three punishments for disobeying your order not to venture out: bad, really bad, or you don't want to know! Now grab your funny bone- and your notebook - for important lessons in proper under-the-bed hiding techniques (keep talking to a minimum), how to effectively scare supermarket shoppers (it's not with the prices!), and what to do with your eyeballs when they're not in your mouth. So pull up a seat in the Monster Academy, the scariest (NOT!) place under the city dump, and get ready for some lessons so bizarre, they're scary!
