My 4-year-old likes the fantasy and make-believe elements in Dragon Tales - the story of a pair of siblings who go off into a fantasy world inhabited by dragons appeals to her as she likes making up stories and playing make-believe. The bonus is that the language is clean and each episode has a positive message such as the importance of sharing, playing fair, being responsible, not hitting, not lying, jealousy and how to deal with it etc.
The focus of the episodes on this DVD is on showing consideration for others and being sensitive to their feelings. There are 5 episodes in all: "No Hitter", "The Mefirst Wizard", "Give Zak a Hand", "Teasing is Not Pleasing", and "Play It and Say It". There's a quick start feature that plays all the episodes instantenously. There are no bonus features and the total running time is 64 mins.
