the story is not overtly complex, but it is just nice.
I like it.
it is gentle and simple- and good for the whole family.
and it is like an hour long!
it doesn't really teach anything specific, except maybe not to be grumpy at the holidays, and to always believe.. but either way, it is just nice.
OH, and there are bonus episodes on the disc- including the OTHER christmas episode + more.

Their car brimming with luggage and Christmas presents, Franklin and his family are off on a holiday visit with Grandma and Grandpa at Faraway Farm! Unfortunately, Franklin s enthusiasm fades as he begins to realize that being a big brother to Harriet means being in big trouble. Everything changes for Franklin when a sudden ice storm hits and Grandpa takes a terrible tumble. So begins a magical adventure for Franklin and Harriet, as they journey home in search of help. Luckily, with the aid of a mysterious flying creature and some very special new friends, the two manage to return to Faraway Farm with Doctor Bear and her family. Once back together, friends and family share an enchanted Christmas Eve and a memory they will hold forever of a magical ride on a magical Christmas night.
