(More customer reviews)We've avoided introducing our two-year old daughter to any regular tv/video watching until recently. We found the videos from this series ideal for a very young, media shielded viewer because they are based on book illustrations, encouraging the viewer to regard each illustration carefully. Our daughter is familiar with all the books and this dvd is very similar to having the book read to her---the pace is the same and there is no quick moving action. I understand why the previous rater doesn't care for the dvd, but that's what makes it perfect for us. We were looking for something paced for a very young, un-media savvy viewer. Actually, I think the adapted illustrations are charming.
