If you don't have either season 2 or 3, then buy those instead, since those are the best episodes of Spongebob, and $20 is great for that. It's only like, $8 more than one of those DVDs that comes with 5-6 episodes. While seasons 2/3 were the best, and a hilarious show in general, season 5 is not absolutely terrible. Season 4, now that (minus Krusty Towers, which was a good one like earlier episodes) was absolutely terrible. It's a step up, and most episodes'll have at least a few laughs in em. what's annoying is how they've split it. I know it's so they'll get more money but it is annoying to not have all the season's episodes in 1 box set. It would be fine if they were $10-$15, because you're getting half the episodes (as compared to seasons 1/2/3) at the same price, if not more. Season 5 Pt2 (Nov. 18th release date) will have the better episodes of the season, though.
In recommended buying order: 2, 3, 1, (5Pt2 when it's released) 5 Pt1, 4 Pt1, 4 Pt2
Episode list:
"Sing a Song of Patrick"
"A Flea in Her Dome"
"The Donut of Shame"
"The Krusty Plate"
"Atlantis SquarePantis"

"Blackened Sponge"
"Mermaid Man vs. SpongeBob"

My kid’s love SpongeBob, his laugh is so freaking hilarious! I definitely will look into buying the 2nd season. I wish I had a TV in my car so my kids can enjoy it while we are on-the-go. Luckily I have the next best thing. I can stream any channel I subscribe to right to my iPad using my Sling box. So my kids most likely always choose SpongeBob and that keeps them entertained while running errands. It's a lifesaver sometimes. Since working for DISH, my experience with the Sling box has been great. I tell all my girlfriends about TV everywhere with DISH. I know a lot of parents have to take their kids with them to go pay bills or shop and with TV everywhere, it’s a lot less hectic.
