(More customer reviews)The Canada animated companies such as Nelvanna and Kaboom does it again. When I first heard of this series I expected the main villian to be Hades not Zues' father Cronus. The three part pilot has many areas that remind me of Disney Hercules movie such as the allignment of the planets allowing Cronus to break free in the way Hades freed the Titans in the Disney movie. Cronus also send a giant boar and other creatures close to those Hades sent after Hercules in the Disney movie after the seven descendants of the Greek Gods. The part of the decendants reminds me of the books OH MY GODS and GODDESS BOOT CAMP for those who like the show might want to try reading. This case the descendants must protect Zues (who remind me of wizard Shazam from Captain Marvel comics and cartoons) and the Gods of Olympus by the defeat Crones and his horde of mythological monsters. Some of my favorite early episodes are included in this episode such as MAN WORST ENEMY where Cerbeus the three headed dog of the underworld is loose in the modern world, THE NATURE OF THINGS where Pan's rock concert causes trouble for the school with the power of nature like Batman enemy Posion Ivy, and SEE YOU A THE CROSS ROADS where Cronus tries to use a mythological witch trapped in a movie to trap his foes in the same film which acts a the season's Halloween episode.
