(More customer reviews)Finally, a sequel for kids! It's nice to see a child's cartoon differ from the original box office smash. The context is cleaned up enough that kids of all ages can watch without fear of what might come out of the stars' mouths.
The bonus feature showcases a live baby kangaroo making it's way up to his mama's pouch and several shots of baby kangaroos jumping in and out of their mama's pouch. Having never seen that before, I thought the video was worth purchasing for that alone. Young children will get a kick out of National Geographic's short skit.
The only drawback was the fact that they jump from the main storyline to a scene where Kangaroo Jack begins boxing and rapping. It left me bewildered, until Louis wakes up and talks about his dream. This one bit could have been saved for the bonus features. When I made the comment aloud, my 9-year-old daughter said, "Mom, it was meant to be funny; to make kids laugh. There was no purpose to it." I smiled and said, "well if they were gearing towards kids, they did it right."
