I like the fact that it is faithful to the style of the Madeline books, with charming animation accompanied by narration in rhymed couplets. Both stories on this DVD focus on the dog, Genevieve. One story describes how Genevieve came to live with Madeline (based on the book, "Madeline's Rescue"), and the other describes her entry into a Parisian dog show. Filled with humor and delightful songs. My daughter especially loved the episode about "Madeline's Rescue."
