(More customer reviews)Suzann Pitt is primarily an artist, who occasionally does an animated film. The three she has produced, all presented here along with a good profile of the artist, are quite remarkable.
"Asparagus," with its surreal and sexual imagery, made a major impact on its appearance in 1979, and toured midnight shows with David Lynch's film "Eraserhead."
"Joy Street" is an emotional roller-coaster ride with a woman in crisis--an unusually sophisticated presentation for animation.
"El Doctor" is her first "story" animation--an elderly doctor flashes back to what he could have done differently--also very unusual for animation.
