When God distributed wisdom and foolishness in a newly-created world, one of His cherubs accidentally dropped all the foolishness on a tiny village called Chelm, so no one in the village is smart. Recently orphaned, Aaron and his friendly goat Zlateh live there with Aaron's uncle Shlemiel. When an evil sorcerer and his monster attack the village, Aaron and Zlateh have to defend it themselves. Based on a story written by Nobel Prize-winning author Isaac Bashevis Singer (Enemies: A Love Story, Yentl, many collections of short stories for children).
