(More customer reviews)I am probubly one of the biggest Sailor Moon S (super) fans out there who appreciate all the versions! I feel it is sometimes "funny" to see how Cartoon Network edited some parts and how the orriginal version is. Really, all the versions are good. I think that the fans who want the "complete package" should get the subtitled version, and the younger viewers should get the TV version, but the uncut version is like, in the middle as I put it. It gives you the "feel" of both the subtitled and the TV versions.
Unlike other Sailor Moon S fans, I really didn't mind how Cartoon Network edited the "Secret Destiny" episode "Bond of Destiny: the Distant Days of Uranus". I am well aware that both Amara and Michelle (Haruka and Michiru in Japan) are liesbians NOT cousins as Cartoon Network made them, and I am well aware that in this episode they first meet. And I also know many people hate the new Cartoon Network dub becasue of this. I personally don't blame them for doing it either. Especially when mostly younger viewers watch the show. But I will probubly have to side with the orriginal subtitled version people. But I'm not dissing or rejecting the TV version, either. I can understand Cartoon Network. But truely, the orriginal version is the best and so is the uncut. So in my "theory" I think viewers 10- should get the TV version. For the viewers 12+, you should get the uncut and also for the ages of 12+ get the subtitled. But this is only in my opinion. I am not against ANY of the versions, TV, Uncut, os Subtitled, and I recomend all of them for the ULTIMATE SAILOR MOON FANS. You don't have to go by my "Theory" but I do know about all three versions, and I do know that some of the subtitled is NOT for younger viewers. But I'm siding mostly with the uncut and subtitled versions because you then know what the relationship with Amara and Michelle is really like.
