(More customer reviews)This DVD containing the final three episodes of Clow Card Season, will bring you back to the excitement when you first saw the Final Judgement. The DVD contains two versions of those episodes; namely, English version and French version. The English version is the infamouslly cut-and-edited North Amerian version, and the French version is conversely the excellent dub maintaining the original length and even background music, which is entitled "Sakura Chasseuse de Cartes." I rated it by four stars because of the French version included in the DVD.

Part ITroubled by the increasing intensity of her recurring dream, on a train to Julian's archery competition Sakura recalls her capture of the Dream Card and the strange advice she received. Things get stranger when Julian's competitor turns out to Layla Mackenzie, who loses the match because she senses Kero's presence, forcing a meeting between the two. Sakura is shocked to discover them talking and flashes back to her capture of the Light and Dark Cards. While trying to collect her thoughts, the last Clow Card appears.
Part IIAfter using smarts over strength to capture the Earth Card - the final Clow Card (and fourth Element), Sakura watches mystified as Kero transforms into his true form, the Guardian Beast of the Seal. But as Sakura soon finds out, Jero isn't the only one who has his magical powers back. The elusive Yue shows himself for the first time and, just as the Light and Dark Cards prophesized, he turns out to be someone who was always by Sakura's side - Julian. Yue, The Judge and second guardian of the Clow Cards, announces that he will preside over the Final Judgment. With Kero by her side, Sakura watches as Li is put to the test and prepares to meet her own challenge for dominion over the Cards.
Part IIIThe time has come for Sakura to face The Final Judgment for dominion over the Clow Cards. Yue challenges her to try to defeat him using the Clow Cards she's collected. Still unable to separate the cold Yue from his alter-ego Julian, Sakura initially refuses to fight. She finally chooses to use the gentle Wood Card, hoping to end the test without hurting her friend. But Yue turns her magic against her, and declares that she isn't strong enough to be the new Master. Unwilling to accept the consequences of failing the Final Judgment, Sakura listens to her heart and stands firm against Yue. Using her newly transformed Clow Staff emblazoned with a star, Sakura defeats Yue and reaches out to him as a friend. Yue finally acknowledges that Sakura's true strength lies in her heart and officially recognizes her as the new Master of the Clow Cards. Clow Reed appears to Sakura and tells her that he is pleased - the Cards will be in good hands.
