A neat feature is a Little Golden Book named Gerald McBoing Boing based on the Dr. Suess motion picture is included with the DVD. Gerald and his friends have adventures in Hansel and Gretal, Jack & The Beanstalk, and Cinderella type of adventures among others. The running time for the DVD is 60 minutes with a suggested age of 2 and up. Special feature is "Soundcheck Game."

Then, Geraldsaves Jacob from a genie in a magic lamp. Next, McBoing Boing climbs a beanstalk to make a sad giant glad! Then the crew is in a Cinderella-style tale called "Janinerella" starring none other than Janine! Then "Burp" Gerald’s dog, wants to be the fourth musketeer! Woof! Woof! Last up, it’s a McBoing Boingian twist on the classic Princess and Pea story.
